Knox Box Information

A Knox Box is a high-security key lock box that provides emergency services with immediate access to locked buildings, gates, or other secured areas.

Installing a Knox Box offers two key benefits:

  • Faster Emergency Response: Emergency personnel can enter without delay if immediate access is needed.
  • Prevents Property Damage: Eliminates the need for costly forcible entry if an emergency occurs while the property is unoccupied.

Knox Boxes are securely mounted on the exterior of a building or gate. Inside the box are the keys needed to access the property. For security, only emergency personnel with a department-issued master key can open the box.
