“Click It or Ticket” Enforcement Results

Barrington Hills, IL – Barrington Hills Police announced it issued 49 citations during the Memorial Day “Click It or Ticket” enforcement period. “Through the Memorial Day enforcement campaign, we helped make Illinois roads safer and spread the word that seat belts save lives,” said William Walsh, Media Relations Officer.

During the enforcement period, Barrington Hills Police wrote 2 citations for seat belt violations and
took the following additional actions:

[0] child car seat citations
[0] DUI arrests
[0] felony arrests
[0] stolen vehicles recovered
[0] fugitives apprehended
[0] suspended/revoked license
[0] uninsured motorist citations
[30] speeding citations
[0] reckless driving citations
[0] drug arrests

The “Click It or Ticket” campaign is funded with federal highway safety funds administered by
