On Saturday July 25th at 2:23 am, Barrington Hills Police responded to Brinker and Hills & Dales Road for a traffic crash with injuries. Arriving officers found a male victim ejected from the vehicle, and began lifesaving measures however the victim was pronounced deceased.
The two remaining occupants were transported to area hospitals. The victim’s identities are being withheld pending the notification of family.
Preliminary investigation indicates a Mercedes SUV was travelling north on Brinker Road, left the roadway, struck several trees and rolled over. Speed was a contributing factor in this crash.
The crash remains under investigation by Barrington Hills Police and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team.
