Hire Officers for A Private Event

The Barrington Hills Police Department provides police services for private or special events within the Village. This is referred to as extra-duty employment and is subject to approval by the Chief of Police (or their designee).

The Barrington Hills Police Department provides police services for private or special events held within the Village. This service, referred to as extra-duty employment, is subject to approval by the Chief of Police or their designee.

Rates & Requirements

• Standard Rate: $100.00 per hour, per officer (two-hour minimum).
• Travel Charge: An Additional 30-minute minimum per officer, per event.
• Not-for-Profit Organizations:
  • First event → First two hours free (e.g., one officer for two hours, or two officers for one hour).
  • After free hours → $75.00 per hour for the remainder of the first event.
  • Additional events → $100.00 per hour, per officer.
• Village Holidays: Additional $35.00 per hour, per officer
